How the system works
MedisecTRUST Digital Dictation works with any hospital PAS and any Digital Dictation system. It automatically matches digitally dictated clinical notes with PAS patient details to produce a pre-populated electronic clinic attendance letter or discharge summary at the touch of a button.
4 steps to faster delivery
The consultant creates customised workflows of outstanding dictation in MedisecTRUST – selecting a letter automatically opens the digital dictation software ready for dictation.
The transcription automatically appears in the relevant medical secretary’s workflow (without them having to search for it). When they open up the voice file, the system automatically downloads the most up-to-date patient information from the Patient Administration System (e.g. date of birth, address, NHS number and GP) into a pre-populated letter template.
The completed document is then forwarded to the consultant to review and sign off electronically.
The authorised document is released for electronic delivery to the GP and also appears in a completion workflow for the medical secretary to action as required.
