Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust

Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust use MedisecTRUST and MedisecNET to guarantee the overnight delivery of patient information to GPs. The hospital has been using the software since February 2002.

The software provides electronic links between all six of the Trust's hospitals and 69 GPs within central and south Manchester.

Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Trust are also using MedisecEDischarge to collect vital clinical information on patients during hospital visits, enabling GPs to provide better levels of ongoing care. The system uses standardised electronic templates which gather comprehensive clinical information during hospital stays. It then sends the data electronically to GPs on the day of discharge.
