City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust use MedisecTRUST to manage the generation of clinical correspondence across the Trust. The system was introduced in March 2007 as an integral part of a modernisation process aimed at improving service and reducing costs.

The initial implementation was a 3 month pilot process to prove the technical solution and prove the business case. The Trust is now in a position to optimise the use of other technologies like Speech Recognition as well as contemplating new structures for the production of clinical correspondence.
