4 steps to faster delivery

  1. Dictation: The consultant creates a workflow of outstanding dictation in MedisecTRUST Digital Dictation – selecting a patient automatically opens the digital dictation software ready for dictation
  2. Letter creation: The transcription automatically appears in the relevant medical secretary’s workflow (without them having to search for it).  When they open up the voice file, the system automatically downloads the most up-to-date patient information from the Patient Administration System (e.g. date of birth, address, NHS number and GP) into a pre-populated letter template.
  3. Approval: The completed document is then forwarded to the consultant to review and sign off electronically.
  4. Delivery: The authorised document is released for electronic delivery to the GP and also appears in a completion workflow for the medical secretary to action as required.

The technology supports all methods of letter generation on the same platform, whether you outsource your transcription, use an internal team, use speech to text conversion or allow clinicians to correct documents directly.
